What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember preferences and, in the case of advertising cookies, show ads that are more relevant to you.

1. Strictly necessary
Used for basic operation and security of the site (for example, by our hosting provider to balance traffic). These cannot be switched off.
2. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Google and its certified advertising partners set cookies (such as Google's advertising cookies) to serve and measure ads, limit how many times you see an ad, and — where you have consented — personalize the ads you see based on your visits to this and other sites. A consent banner is shown to visitors in regions where the law requires it, letting you accept or decline these cookies.
3. Local storage (not a cookie)
Our converter briefly caches exchange-rate data in your browser's local storage (up to 30 minutes) purely for speed. It contains no personal information.
